Description

The 74HC374 is a Tri-State Octal D Flip/Flop with CMOS input level. The device has a clock (CP) and output enable (OE) inputs. On the LOW - to - HIGH clock (CP) transition, the flip flops will store the state of their individual D - inputs that meet the set-up and hold time requirements. A HIGH on OE causes the outputs to go into a high - impedance OFF - state. The operation of the OE input has no effect on the state of the flip-flops. Inputs also include clamp diodes, allowing the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages greater than VCC.
