Description
This Hammond extruded aluminium heavy-duty enclosure is extremely robust. It can house printed circuit boards (specifically sized for standard Eurocards) and is also suitable for equipment interfacing. PCBs are mounted horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body.
The body of the enclosure is constructed from a single piece of extruded aluminium with a minimum thickness of 1.5mm. It also includes a recessed area for labels or a membrane keypad. The diecast aluminium end panels are rugged yet easy to machine, while the front & rear gasket is a full perimeter conductive foam/fabric made of a nickel/copper and CPSA (conductive pressure sensitive adhesive). This enclosure meets IP54 ratings.
