Description

The Alloy FCR200LC media converter belongs to the FCR200 series of fast Ethernet media converters. It is a dual-purpose Fast Ethernet Media Converter. You can utilise it either as a standalone unit or install it within an Alloy DCR12 series media converter chassis. It comes equipped with a 100Base-TX copper port and a 100Base-FX multimode LC port. This enables seamless conversion of Ethernet signals between different media types. The fiber cable range of this converter extends up to 2 km, allowing for long-distance network connections.

The Alloy FCR200LC media converter is a versatile networking device. It can be used as a media converter module in any Alloy DCR12 series 12-slot media converter chassis. Whether in standalone mode or installed in the chassis, it offers flexible solutions for various media conversion applications in fast Ethernet network environments.

Equipped with dual 100Base-TX auto-sensing 10/100Mbps RJ-45 and 100Base-FX LC terminated multimode ports, the FCR200LC is perfect for converting UTP/STP copper to fast Ethernet multimode fiber media.

The RJ-45 port supports fast Ethernet and Ethernet UTP/STP links at a range of up to 100 meters, while the 100Base-FX port has a maximum fiber cable range of up to 2 kilometers. This makes the FCR200LC an ideal solution for long-distance network connections. Thus enabling seamless communication between devices even in geographically dispersed locations.
