Description
This PASCO PASPort Absolute Pressure Sensor measures pressure relative to an internal reference vacuum, allowing students to make consistent pressure measurements above and below the ambient conditions. This sensor has a measuring range of 0 to 7 bar (0 to 700 kPa).
NOTE: It is recommended that you purchase a PASPort compatible interface in order to retrieve readings from the sensor.
Features
- Typical applications include: measuring chemical reaction rates; modelling a human lung; studying vapor pressure vs. temperature; exploring the Ideal Gas Law; exploring Charles’ Law; and exploring Boyle’s Law.
- Make accurate and consistent measurements of gas pressure, regardless of ambient conditions and explore how chemical reactions affect gas pressure
