Description
The Redback Phase5 250W 6 Input Public Address (PA) Mixer Amplifier is designed in conjunction with Australia’s leading PA professionals to meet the needs of multi-source installations. This unit features a colour LCD screen for monitoring amplifier status and custom input labeling.
Engineered for professional PA installations, this amplifier delivers 250W RMS power with a frequency response of 50Hz to 15kHz ±3dB and THD less than 0.5% at 1kHz. It features voice/vox muting with three input priority levels, bass and treble controls, and phantom power capability. Ideal for schools, shopping centers, workshops, mine sites, and office buildings.
The amplifier operates on 240V AC mains or 24V DC for battery backup during power failures. It supports 100V line, 70V line, or low impedance (4-16 Ohm) loads. Safety features include thermal overload shutdown, overcurrent and overload protection, and fuses on both AC and DC supply rails.
Features
LCD: Indicates input and output levels, amplifier status, heatsink temperature, overload, and over-current conditions. Operates on 240V AC or 24V DC. Allows custom labeling of input sources via USB keyboard.
Input configuration: Each input can be set for balanced microphone or line use. A dip switch for each input offers the following options: Phantom power on/off, mic or line, 100mV or 1V, and VOX muting on/off (priority).
Three levels of priority: Priority selection is by a dip switch on the rear panel: Input 1 over 2-6, input 2 over 3-6, and input 3 over 4-6.
Overload protection: Internal circuitry limits the output current during an overload, reducing the voltage at the speaker terminals.
Input Limiting: Limits the output to 110V regardless of input level. This prevents dangerously high voltages from damaging the loudspeaker.
Optional Extra
ATA4573 Alert/evac option board: Generates pre-chime, bell, alert, and evacuation tones. The alert tone can operate continuously or switch to the evacuation tone after a preset time delay (adjustable from 30 seconds to 4.5 minutes). Connects internally to the amplifier via the provided cable.
