Description
This Alert/Evac Option Board module generates pre-announcement chimes and alert/evacuation tones for selected Redback® mixers and amplifiers. It includes separate volume controls for the alert/evac tone, chime, and message voice-over levels. Chimes and alert/evac tones are triggered via closing contacts on a five-way euro block, with DIP switches to set triggers to momentary or alternate action. The module offers various chimes, including pre-announcement, Ding Dong, repeating Bing, and repeating Bong, selectable via DIP switches.
A switch-over option changes the alert tone to the evacuation tone after a set time, is adjustable from 30 to 270 seconds in 30-second increments, or can be switched off. An included microphone allows for recording an emergency voice-over message. This can be activated via DIP switches and will play twice after the evacuation tone has been repeated four times.
