Description
The IEC Handheld Spectroscope with Calibrated Scale is a portable device for analyzing and measuring light wavelengths in nanometers. When pointed at a light source, a built-in diffraction grating separates the light into its component colours, deflecting shorter wavelengths more than longer ones.
This deflection creates visible colour bands inside the housing, slightly offset to the right, each aligned with an internal scale for easy wavelength measurement.
