Description
With an inbuilt power supply, the IEC Millikan's Apparatus atomizes a latex solution into small, charged spheres introduced between charged cell plates. As the voltage between plates reverses, particles move between them, observed through a graticule telescope. The integrated power sources provide the necessary voltage. Users can calculate the charge on a single electron by measuring the potential on the plates and tracking particle velocities.
