Description

The IEC Simple Planck's Constant Apparatus provides a cost-effective method for determining Planck's Constant.

This apparatus uses 7 LEDs of different wavelengths (including 2 in the infrared range) to measure photon energy. By applying voltage to each LED until it just begins to conduct, the voltage required correlates to the energy of photons for each wavelength.

Plotting these 7 readings on a graph allows for the calculation of Planck's Constant. While this method is less fundamental than using a traditional photo tube, it achieves reliable results at a lower cost.
