Description
The IEC Resistance Coil is a classic educational tool for teaching electrical concepts. It features a coil of temperature-stable wire wound to precise resistance values and housed in a compact transparent casing.
Designed for resistance-measuring bridges and similar applications, it is not intended for high-current use. Each coil can handle approximately 4 watts continuously or up to 10 watts briefly but should not be overheated.
The available standard values are 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 5.0, 10.0, 20.0, 50.0, and 100.0 ohms, with a calibration accuracy of ±1%.
