Description
The IEC Resistance 'Coefficient of Copper' Apparatus is designed to study the temperature coefficient of resistance. It features a fine copper coil wound on a Pyrex glass former with a handle. The copper coil has a resistance of 20 ohms at room temperature.
To determine the temperature coefficient, the apparatus is immersed in ice water and then in near-boiling water while monitoring the change in resistance with temperature.
