Description
The IEC Joule's Insert Stirrer for Calorimeter fits a standard 50x75mm (DxH) calorimeter cup, converting it into a Joule’s calorimeter. It includes a lid with a stirrer and two 4mm spin-free IEC socket terminals supporting conducting rods with a 2-ohm heating coil. When used with a calorimeter cup, it allows precise measurement of electrical energy required to heat a specific water mass. Often used with the Insulating Box & Lid (EM0830-001).
