Description

The 4512 IC is an 8-channel data selector designed using a CMOS circuit with N and P-channel transistors. Data selectors are commonly utilized for digital signal multiplexing, enabling the selection of one out of eight inputs and directing it to the output. When the Inhibit input receives a high level, the output is forced to a low level. On the other hand, a high level at the Output Enables (OE) input places the output in a three-state condition. Normal operation is allowed when both the Inhibit and (OE) inputs receive low levels.

The IC 4512 offers various advantageous features, including ESD immunity and efficient thermal compensation. It is a straightforward IC to use and can be directly interfaced with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL devices.
