Description
The Ubiquiti ROCKET M5 5GHz is a rugged, hi-power, very linear 2x2 MIMO radio with enhanced receiver performance. It allows you to build a wireless network that is both flexible and scalable. You can use it as a wireless distribution system or a base station for the rest of the wireless network. Moreover, if you want to broadcast the Internet to a much larger and wider area, you can pair the device with other network technologies such as access points, as well as a bridge to help two or more LAN networks communicate.
Rocket M5 is a 2x2 MIMO technology that uses AirMax Technology to share a signal across multiple devices and channels simultaneously. It features incredible range performance (50+km) and breakthrough speed (150+Mbps real TCPI/IP). The Rocket M5 is fully secure due to its support for numerous encryption protocols such as WPA2, WPA, and WEP 64/128/152. It operates using Atheros MIPS 24KC and 8MB NAND Flash.
The Ubiquiti ROCKET M5 5GHz is designed for outdoor PtP bridging and PTMP Airmax base-station applications. The Rocket M and AirMax BaseStation/Rocket Antennas work together seamlessly. Rocket M requires no special equipment to install on AirMax BaseStation/Rocket Antennas. Simply snap it into place with the mount provided with the Antennas. It also has PoE functionality.
