Description
This is Ubiquiti's next-generation Ethernet Surge Protector Gen 2, model ETH-SP-G2. A cost-effective solution for protecting outdoor Ethernet devices from damaging electrostatic discharge and surges. These potentially damaging electrostatic discharges and surges are diverted to the ETH-SP-G2. They then safely discharge into the ground, protecting network devices.
All Ubiquiti® airMAX® devices have robust ESD built-in protection, adding the ETH-SP-G2 to the installation adds an additional layer of network protection.
The ETH-SP-G2 protects Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and non-PoE devices with up to 1 Gbps connection speeds. Two passive, surge-protected RJ45 connections provide maximum equipment compatibility.
