Description
The Blackmagic Video Assist 5" 12G HDR adds professional monitoring and recording to any SDI or HDMI camera in all HD, Ultra HD, 2K, and 4K DCI formats. It features a bright 5", 1920 x 1080 display with 2500nits brightness to help you frame and focus your shots. It also provides 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs for recording the video output from professional and consumer cameras.
The Blackmagic Video Assist 5" 12G HDR records video in 10-bit 4:2:2 resolution. SDXC/HC cards are used to record files in Apple ProRes (HQ, 422, LT, Proxy) or DNxHD and DNxHR codecs to a single high-speed UHS-II slot. The files are all standard, so you can start editing immediately without having to convert them.
