Description
The Blackmagic Camera Fiber Converter allows you to extend and power your URSA Broadcast camera from up to 2 kilometers away using industry-standard SMPTE fiber optic cable and a separately available Studio Fiber Converter for a breakout. This Camera Fiber Converter also includes common live camera controls with multiple channels of talkback and standard television industry talkback headset connections. It features 1 Ultra HD camera feed, plus 3 HD return feeds in a compact IP video-based design.
The Camera Fiber Converter has a single 12G-SDI outgoing connection for HD or UHD 4K video and three incoming 3G-SDI connections for monitoring with a separate studio viewfinder. To secure the studio viewfinder, use the V-lock at the top. The converter comes with all of the necessary mounting hardware to secure it to the camera.
