Description
The Alloy AS2008-P is a low-cost, unmanaged Fast Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) desktop switch designed for small workgroups. It is ideal where devices like IP Phones need to be powered from the switch via UTP data cables.
This desktop switch features 8x 10/100Mbps PoE ports. All of these are fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3at and af Power over Ethernet standards. The ports are auto-sensing and auto-MDI/X. This makes it easy to connect to existing switching infrastructure and PoE Powered Devices (PDs) such as IP Phones, Wireless Access Points, and IP Video Cameras. All ports support up to 18.75W of power, with the switch providing a total power output of up to 150 watts. The switch is powered by an internal power supply.
The Alloy AS2008-P is the perfect solution for adding low-cost PoE capability to support PoE-powered devices in smaller networks.
