Description
The Alloy APC100SC is a standalone media converter. It enables the use of PoE devices on a network in remote locations where copper connections are limited by distance. Supporting 802.3at PoE technology, it can power PD devices and provide data transmission capabilities through a multimode fiber optic cable with a wavelength of 1310nm and an SC fiber connector.
The Alloy APC100SC supports two types of media 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX.
The APC100 Series media converters are ideal for applications where Ethernet devices need power through the network connection rather than a power cord. This method of powering is common for devices such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, and IP cameras. The APC100 Series converters are fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3at/af standard.
