Description
The Alloy APC100ST Multimode Fiber 1310nm (SC) 802.3at PoE Media Converter is a reliable and efficient standalone device that serves as a media converter and can power PD devices. It extends the range of Ethernet networks over fiber optic cables, providing a high-performance networking solution. The Alloy APC100ST media converter has a 10/100Base-TX copper Ethernet port and a 100Base-FX SC fiber port. This allows for the bidirectional conversion of Ethernet signals between copper and fiber optic cables.
The APC100 Series of media converters are designed for applications where the supply of power to attached Ethernet devices needs to be via the network connection, rather than by a power cord. Typical devices that use this method of powering are VoIP Phones, Wireless Access points, and IP-based Cameras.
The APC100 Series media converters are fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3at/af standard.
