It facilitates media conversion between Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-TX over UTP/STP copper cable and 100Base-FX over single-mode fiber cable with SC termination, with a range of up to 20 kilometers. Additionally, the device supports IEEE 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. You can use it to power PoE equipment such as IP phones and IP cameras via UTP or STP data cable.
