F59 Type Twist-on Plug - RG-59 Cable

Start by stripping the coaxial cable back approximately 12mm and folding the braid/foil back over the plastic outer sheath. Trim around 8mm of foam insulation from the center conductor. Next, screw the knurled connector onto the cable until you see enough of the center conductor protruding from the front of the connector. The foam insulation will help center the conductor. If necessary, trim any excess braid and foil beforehand to prevent the screw thread from binding. Only a small amount of braid is required for a secure electrical connection. Once complete, trim any remaining excess braid from the knurled end. For a tidy finish, consider covering the connection with heat-shrink tubing.
