Description
The PASCO PASPort Thermocline Sensor measures depth automatically. This sensor tells when you reached the thermocline in a body of water when there is a sudden change of temperature.
Students can directly measure temperature as a function of depth in local streams and lakes. Since this sensor measures depth automatically, there's no need to read markings on a cable and enter data manually. Weighted housing provides depth measurement stability.
NOTE: PASCO PASPort sensors require one of the PASPort interfaces in order to use them.

- Create depth profiles for bodies of water
- Study ocean tides
- Study thermoclines in fresh and salt water environments
