Description
This PASCO PASPort Load Cell with Amplifier Set (PS-2199) includes a 6-port Load Cell Amplifier and 4 100 N Load Cells to get you started. This set can be used to test structure strength, control or manipulate forces, and explore dynamic force relationships. It measures the forces at any location in structures you build with any PASCO Structures System. Load cells are easily inserted by replacing one structure beam with a load cell connected to two, shorter beams.
Any I-beam in a structure can be replaced by two smaller I-beams connected to the Load Cell to measure forces at that location. Each amplifier can accept 6 Load Cells and if additional cells are needed, multiple amplifiers can be connected to a single computer through a PASCO interface. Load Cell Amplifier (PS-2198) & Load Cells (PS-2200 & PS-2201) available separately.
NOTE: The PASCO PASPort sensors require one of the PASPort interfaces in order to use them.
