Description
The PASCO 2-Axis Force Platform is capable of measuring large forces applied over a wide area. It enables measurement of vertical, horizontal & parallel forces applied directly on to the platform. It has two loops on the side so it can be hung on a wall.
The platform measures the force exerted on any object in contact with it. The sturdy glass-filled nylon platform is supported by force beams which combine to measure the total force on the platform. What's more, this 2-axis Force Platform has a second plate which rides on rollers on the base force platform to measure the force parallel to the platform. To this end, there are a total of 5 force beams. This includes 4 corner beams to measure the normal force and a fifth beam to measure the parallel (sideways) force.
