Description
The Redback 250W 4-Channel PA Mixer Amplifier is designed for applications requiring up to three microphone inputs without compromising output power or performance. You can configure each input for microphone or line-level operation. This amplifier delivers 250W RMS, with a frequency response from 50Hz to 15kHz ±3dB and a THD of less than 0.5% at 1kHz. VOX muting on inputs one and two automatically mutes other inputs when activated. Bass and treble controls, along with phantom power, provide flexibility for various applications, including factories, workshops, mine sites, sports clubs, and office buildings.
The amplifier operates on 240V AC mains or 24V DC for battery backup during power failures. The output is standard for a 100V line load but can be configured internally to a 70V line or low impedance (4-16Ω). It features thermal overload, overcurrent, and overload protection circuitry, with fuses on both AC and DC lines. A half-power mode allows the amplifier to run at a reduced output level if overdriven. Tape output sockets are provided for recording or connecting additional power amplifiers. Remote volume control is available when a digital volume control module is fitted internally and an external wall plate or 1kΩ potentiometer is connected.
Alert and evacuation tones (AS1607.4 compliant), chime tones, and voice-over message options are also available when an optional alert/evac module is fitted.
