Description
The IEC Linear Expansion Apparatus demonstrates and measures the linear expansion of metals when heated. Steam is passed through tubes of different metals to compare their expansions, which are precisely measured with a 0.01mm increment dial indicator. The kit includes a thermometer to monitor the tube’s temperature before and after heating. Steam is generated using a boiling flask with a side branch for steam transfer.
