Description
The IEC Kundt's Apparatus is a high-quality setup for studying sound, standing waves, resonance, musical tones, and instrument acoustics. It includes an 850mm transparent resonance tube with a metric scale, dual side holes with sliding shutters, an adjustable piston, a miniature microphone, and a mini-speaker for generating sound waves. Also provided is a driver for connecting the speaker to an amplifier or oscilloscope and an instruction manual.
Only an IEC Signal Generator (models LB3754-001, LB3756-101, or LB3758-001) is needed to operate. An oscilloscope or standard amplifier is useful for detecting maximum and minimum sound levels visually or audibly.
