Description
The IEC Franck-Hertz Experiment Set is a self-contained laboratory apparatus. It features an electron tube (Thyratron) filled with Xenon gas and equipped with electrodes to excite gas molecules. External power supplies are needed for the tube heater and anode/cathode voltage.
The set includes an internal 9V battery and amplifier, allowing even small currents to be detected using standard bench meters if a sensitive mirror galvanometer is unavailable.
