Description
The IEC Photogate 'U' Shaped is a versatile device that detects interruptions in a red LED light beam as objects pass through. Ideal for various measurements, you can fit it with adaptors to easily attach to the IEC Air Track. This allows gliders to pass through the beam.
Powered by 12V AC or DC, the Photogate is compatible with IEC's electronic timers to execute precise timing tasks. The newer gates designed for the "Genius" timer (LB4055-001) use a single cable to power the LED and transmit the signal. Thus enabling the timer to operate two gates simultaneously.
