Description
This PASPort Optical Dissolved Oxygen Sensor PS-2196 from PASCO measures dissolved oxygen concentration in water based on the quenching of luminescence in the presence of oxygen. It also measures dissolved oxygen in mg/L or percent saturation, without requiring calibration or warm-up time.
This sensor makes it easier than ever before to measure dissolved oxygen in the field or in a lab environment. The luminescent technology has several advantages over a galvanic dissolved oxygen sensor such as no warm-up time; no calibration required; low maintenance (no filling solution of electrode polishing); built-in temperature and pressure compensation; no flow dependency; and optional salinity compensation.
NOTE: The PASCO PASPort sensors require one of the PASPort interfaces in order to use them.

Capstone 1.1.5 or later SPARKvue 2.1.121 or later GLX v1.54 or later SPARK SLS v1.4.1 or later *DataStudio and earlier versions of the above software(s) will not support sensor calibration, cap replacement, or salinity constant value changes.
