Description
The PASCO Wireless Pressure Sensor PS-3203 measures absolute gas pressure accurately and consistently, regardless of weather change or ambient conditions, and allows the user to explore how chemical reactions affect gas pressure.
This PASCO Wireless Pressure Sensor allows students to easily gather accurate gas pressure for a wide range of applications. It can facilitate experiments such as Boyle's Law or Empirical Gas Law. Within PASCO's software, students can easily select their desired units from a list containing kPa, mmHg, inHg, mbar, psi, atm, and torr.
Compatibility
Compatibility/System requirements for PASCO Bluetooth Smart products
Any current model Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android tablet, or Android phone will support direct connection to PASCO Bluetooth Smart devices.
Windows computers/tablets and Chromebooks currently require the PS-3500 USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter to connect to PASCO's Bluetooth Smart devices.
Features
- Bluetooth and USB connectivity with a long-lasting rechargeable battery
- Logs pressure data directly onto the sensor for long-term experiments for activities that couldn’t be performed using sensors previously.
- Model a human lung
- Includes a syringe, tubing and the connectors and locks you need for an array of pressure experiments.
- Conduct weather experiments and air foil studies
- Measure transpiration rates, osmosis and pressure changes inside a model cell, rates of enzyme catalyzed reactions, changes in elevation, chemical reaction rates, respiration rates etc.
- No interface required! Connects directly to your devices via Bluetooth® Smart.
- Study Vapor Pressure vs Temperature
- Add a temp sensor to investigate Gas Laws (Ideal, Charles’, Boyle’s)
