Kitronik Breadboard Breakout for the BBC Micro:bit
October 28, 2021 / 0 Comments
The Kitronik Breadboard Breakout for the BBC Micro:bit allows the user to connect a BBC microbit to a standard 2.54mm pitch breadboard. To connect to the breadboard, two 11-way pin headers are used.
The micro:bit is inserted into the edge connector on the top side of the PCB. There are no additional tools required for installation. The front of the BBC micro:bit (the side with the LEDs) should be inserted facing the same side as the 3V pin.
Since the edge connector only has connections on one side, inserting the BBC micro:bit in reverse orientation will not work.
The PCB is designed to plug across the middle slot of a breadboard, the same placement as an IC component.
