July 5, 2017 / 0 Comments

A quick look at the PASCO Oxygen Gas Sensor including an overview of setup, calibration, and use.

The oxygen gas sensor comes in three parts:

  • The sensor box
  • The sensing element
  • The cable that connects them

Calibrate the gas sensor by:

  • Getting a sample of fresh air
  • Trapping that air using the sensing element
  • Connecting the cable between the sensor box and sensing element
  • Plugging the gas sensor into your interface (you should see it on your screen)
  • Pressing the calibrate button (calibration should take 30 seconds to a minute)
