PASPort Wireless Temperature Sensor - Dive into the "Arctic"
June 28, 2017 / 0 Comments
Model an adaptation that arctic animals use to survive extreme cold with the Wireless Temperature Sensor and SPARKvue software.
In this short video, two wireless temperature sensors are used to demonstrate the effects of insulation in frigid temperatures. One sensor is covered with a layer of “blubber,” and both are then submerged in cold water to observe how insulation impacts temperature retention.
Data is collected and analyzed with SPARKvue software for a detailed understanding of the experiment.
